Responsibilities
- Lead quantum-AI research initiatives targeting 2026 technological inflection points

- Mentor a team of 8-12 researchers across quantum computing and machine learning domains
- Secure $5M+ annual research funding through government and industry partnerships
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into patent-protected commercial solutions
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate quantum-AI innovations into production systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years leading research teams in quantum-AI or similar frontier technologies
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE) and transformer architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Track record of securing government research grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Experience with high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud quantum services)
- Strong business acumen for translating research into commercial applications
