Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry leaders, academic institutions, and government agencies
- Present innovation frameworks and progress to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure innovation ROI and technology adoption
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging regulations affecting future tech deployments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 8+ years in innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, blockchain, quantum computing, or biotech
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future-tech publications
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 100+ members in high-growth environments
