Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems)
- Lead cross-functional sprints with engineering, design, and sustainability teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on paradigm shifts in 2026+ tech landscapes
- Design patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment in climate action
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and EU Green Deal initiatives
- Mentor a 12-person innovation pod through rapid prototyping cycles
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in future-strategy roles
- Expertise in systems thinking and exponential technology forecasting
- Proven track record of launching products with >$100M impact
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on climate-tech convergence (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Advanced certification in AI ethics (IEEE or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ paradigm-shifting projects
- Fluency in Python, R, and scenario modeling tools (e.g., GPT-4, AnyLogic)
