Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap across quantum, AI, and sustainable energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor emerging tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 industry landscapes
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget with quarterly ROI reporting
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic innovation leadership
- Proven track record delivering breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or autonomous systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals preferred
- Experience with federal grant applications (DARPA, NSF)
- Proficiency in agile development and lean innovation methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
