Responsibilities
- Lead development of the company's 2026 technology innovation roadmap and strategic vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with commercial potential
- Manage a $50M innovation portfolio from concept to market launch
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish cross-functional partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Drive adoption of cutting-edge development methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with >$100M revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Experience managing global R&D teams and multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Strategic acumen with ability to translate technical vision into business value
