Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-AI hybrid systems and decentralized networks
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech into business strategy
- Build and mentor interdisciplinary teams of futurists, engineers, and designers
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Secure patents and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Drive ethical frameworks for autonomous and self-evolving systems
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (10+ years experience)
- Proven track record shipping complex tech products with global impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or biocomputing
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ scalable innovation prototypes
- Strong background in system architecture and distributed networks
- Certification in AI ethics or sustainable technology (preferred)
- Published research in ACM/IEEE journals or equivalent
