Responsibilities
- Forecast technology trends and market disruptions through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Present insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical/regulatory shifts
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development lifecycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, biotech convergence
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning skills
- Executive presence with C-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents)
