Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop 2026 strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Analyze geopolitical/socioeconomic trends impacting future business landscapes
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership papers on 2026 technology paradigms
- Build cross-functional innovation task forces for emerging domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, R&D leadership, or futurism
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals (AI/ML, synthetic biology, Web3, etc.)
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts (3+ year horizons)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism/tech innovation
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-strategy execution
