Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological, societal, and market trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to disruptive innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed future-proofing principles into corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify exponential growth opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations on future scenarios
- Establish early-warning systems for paradigm shifts and black swan events
- Mentor teams in strategic foresight methodologies and future literacy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven track record of trend analysis and scenario planning for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-vision projects for Fortune 500 clients
