Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop foresight frameworks for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives on 2026 market landscapes
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers distributed to Fortune 500 partners
- Identify $100M+ investment opportunities in emerging frontier technologies
- Champion ethical innovation principles in autonomous systems and neurointerfaces
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent foresight certification
- 8+ years in strategic foresight or emerging technology roles
- Published research on singularity technologies or societal tipping points
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI
- Proven track record of influencing $50M+ product roadmaps
- Experience with Delphi methodology and predictive analytics platforms
- Portfolio of successful trend-to-market execution case studies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
