Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and climate adaptation systems
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual innovation budgets from government/private partnerships
- Lead patent development for at least 3 breakthrough technologies annually
- Coordinate with MIT/Stanford labs for collaborative research initiatives
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor 5-person innovation team in emerging tech methodologies
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotech applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record securing $10M+ in innovation grants
- Published research in Scientific American or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in scenario planning for climate-tech convergence
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-tech prototypes
- Active membership in World Future Society or similar
- Security clearance for federal research collaboration preferred
