Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with 5-year future-state projections
- Facilitate executive workshops on exponential technology adoption and scenario planning
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and emerging tech startups
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities and investment opportunities
- Author quarterly 'Future State Briefs' for board and stakeholder audiences
- Oversee a dedicated innovation lab exploring quantum applications, neurotech interfaces, and sustainable tech
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technology trends or futures methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
