Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable AI systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess market disruption potential
- Design and validate futuristic prototypes through rapid experimentation cycles
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Present futuristic concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting products
- Expertise in quantum computing, biotechnology, or AI ethics frameworks
- PhD in Computational Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for futuristic initiatives
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
