Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmap aligned with long-term corporate objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight data into strategic priorities and resource allocation
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and sustainable tech
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for future-readiness and innovation maturity
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force representing R&D, product, and market strategy
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Dynamics as a 2026 thought leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate R&D, or futurist consulting with proven 2020s tech impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies: quantum, AI governance, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of future trends into commercialized solutions
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through multi-year innovation cycles
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight preferred (e.g., AC/CFP)
