Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AGI) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-use-case scenarios
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-generation innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors
- Monitor global regulatory frameworks and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of developing future-tech roadmaps (2015-2025 experience preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market
