Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 2026-tech roadmaps spanning quantum integration, AI governance frameworks, and carbon-neutral data centers
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, research, product) to prototype and deploy bleeding-edge solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop ethical guidelines for autonomous systems and quantum encryption standards
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor talent in emerging tech domains while maintaining technical excellence
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with proven track record in emerging technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing, neural networks, or sustainable architecture
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing federal/state grants for futuristic initiatives
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy implications (e.g., EU AI Act)
- Portfolio of deployed systems impacting >1M users
