Responsibilities
- Develop and implement forward-thinking technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market needs
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford labs on next-gen prototypes
- Translate futuristic concepts into scalable commercial applications
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in future technology principles
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in emerging tech R&D (quantum/AI/AR preferred)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/IEEE)
- Expertise in at least one future-tech stack: quantum programming, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized frameworks
- Proven track record of shipping bleeding-edge products
- Strategic patent portfolio (minimum 5 granted patents)
- Experience with ethical tech governance frameworks
