Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing daily feedback and performance reviews.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Manage communication with carriers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management.
- Proficient in using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
