Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming freight and merchandise accurately.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory management by performing cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to resolve shipping delays and logistical issues.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
