Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team during the weekend shift.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper organization of stock within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and address any potential hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, damages, and inventory movements.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but training can be provided.
- Strong ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
