Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor belts.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify inventory against packing slips and orders.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse floor to facilitate quick and safe operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance is essential.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
