Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification provided upon hire).
- Stock Maintenance: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and stock shelves or storage areas efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Perform final quality checks on orders before they leave the dock to minimize returns and errors.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, plus occasional weekdays for training or peak season.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling products and data entry.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
