Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations ensuring efficiency and safety compliance
- Manage team of 5-7 associates, assigning tasks and providing real-time guidance
- Coordinate inventory management, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend productivity metrics
- Train and mentor new team members on equipment and protocols
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain clear communication channels
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in logistics or warehousing
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure weekend environments
- Advanced problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass training within first week
