Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily operations, staff assignments, and workflow processes during weekend shifts.
- Team Management: Mentor and supervise a team of 5-10 warehouse associates, ensuring high morale and productivity.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Problem Solving: Address operational bottlenecks and resolve customer complaints or logistical issues immediately.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit shift reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a strong plus.
