Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Train and mentor 5-7 team members on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Coordinate with logistics teams to maintain 99.5% on-time delivery accuracy
- Implement process improvements to reduce weekend bottlenecks
- Conduct pre-shift safety briefings and equipment inspections
- Generate shift performance reports for senior leadership review
- Resolve escalated customer and vendor inquiries with professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Strong conflict resolution and team motivation skills
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (required for facility tours)
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends (Sat/Sun)
