Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse operations including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Lead and motivate weekend staff through daily briefings and performance coaching
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless handover processes
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Maintain accurate records of weekend activities and productivity metrics
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Foster a positive team environment through recognition and feedback
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in logistics/warehouse environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime during peak periods
