Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time during the weekend shift.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move and organize inventory.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment for all team members.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with the logistics team to prioritize shipping and receiving orders, ensuring timely processing.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and assist weekend staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance levels.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A or B) is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday, including holidays as needed.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and proficiency with inventory management software or ERP systems.
