In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly, handling inventory management and coordinating with drivers to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics operations specifically for the weekend shift to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, conducting cycle counts and reconciling stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve shipping errors and optimize delivery routes.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines are strictly followed during operations.
- Train and mentor weekend staff to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments and generate reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for overtime.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
