Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to load, unload, and stage freight efficiently and accurately.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts, verify shipments against packing lists, and ensure stock integrity in the warehouse.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing packages for damage and ensure all items meet strict quality standards before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, maintain a clean workspace, and report any potential hazards immediately.
- Operational Support: Assist in organizing storage areas and maintaining an orderly workflow to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to operate handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
