Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, freight, and cargo to ensure timely distribution.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, checking for damage or discrepancies against packing slips.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor belts, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality assurance standards and handle returns or damaged goods appropriately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Documentation: Accurately complete time logs, shift reports, and other required paperwork.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety and labor laws.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and reliability in previous employment.
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to the Indianapolis facility.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
