Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend warehouse operations including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Lead a team of 8-10 weekend staff, ensuring productivity and safety compliance
- Monitor real-time logistics systems and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Communicate with regional partners regarding weekend delivery schedules
- Implement quality control measures to maintain 99.5% accuracy standards
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and handover documentation
- Train weekend staff on new procedures and equipment operation
- Collaborate with weekday managers for seamless workflow transition
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics or warehouse coordination
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Valid UK driver's license (Class B) for site inspections
- Flexible availability to cover occasional weekday overtime
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and HSE standards
