The Role
As a Weekend Shift Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our distribution center operates smoothly. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and sort packages efficiently and accurately according to shipping labels.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries regarding order status and shipping details.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and data entry.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
