Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately select and pack merchandise according to customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counts to ensure stock integrity.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when certified.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of trailers and trucks.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk on various surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
