Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and execute daily logistics tasks, including sorting, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors and report findings immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the weekday team to transfer information and ensure seamless workflow continuity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional overtime during peak seasons.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer literacy.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
