Responsibilities
- Manage Inbound and Outbound Logistics: Oversee the processing and movement of inventory packages during peak weekend hours.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery issues promptly.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records of shipments and inventory levels using our warehouse management system.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the weekday operations team to ensure seamless handovers and operational continuity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest improvements to enhance weekend workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using handheld scanners.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
