Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and maintain organized warehouse records to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems as required by operational needs.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets Apex’s high-quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pack and prepare customer orders with speed and precision.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to optimize workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday, including holidays.
