Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service at check-in/check-out and throughout guest stays
- Manage reservations and optimize room assignments for weekend occupancy
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly using our service excellence standards
- Execute upselling opportunities for premium amenities and packages
- Maintain detailed logs of guest interactions and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year customer service or hospitality experience
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) is non-negotiable
- Proficient with hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid Virginia driver's license preferred
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions
- Flexible schedule including holidays and special events
