Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care assistance under RN supervision
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care team communication
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations per ACLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Electronic medical records proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for prolonged periods
- Pass background/drug screening
