As a Weekend Associate, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience while managing inventory and sales operations. We pride ourselves on our community-driven approach and are looking for someone who shares our passion for service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Operations Management: Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handle returns, and manage cash drawers responsibly.
- Inventory Control: Assist in receiving shipments, organizing stock, and conducting regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing by restocking shelves and straightening displays.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with weekend staff to ensure seamless operations and support store goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) software quickly.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes up to 25 lbs, and perform light physical tasks as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
