Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and sort merchandise onto pallets, skids, or shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning items and reconciling stock against shipping documents.
- Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
- Assist in preparing packages for shipment, including labeling and sealing.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to resolve issues and meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for qualified applicants.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if driving company vehicle).
