Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move products.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock verification, and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling.
- Equipment Certification: Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform heavy physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Proven track record of attendance and punctuality.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
