Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy through rigorous stock checks.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and optimal storage.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace by adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments and update logs efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistical challenges and improve workflow efficiency.
- Train and supervise new staff members to uphold high standards of operational quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
