Responsibilities
- Provide advanced Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential downtime during weekend operations.
- Manage and resolve incoming help desk tickets with a focus on rapid response times and quality.
- Perform essential system backups, security patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the company knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the on-site engineering team to escalate and resolve complex incidents.
- Ensure strict compliance with all IT security protocols and internal policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
