Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
- Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and security protocols.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve potential outages.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware maintenance and software licensing.
- Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Train end-users on best practices for IT security and software utilization.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Proficiency with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
