Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable web applications using React and Node.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define technical requirements.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex backend issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure data security and compliance with UK data protection regulations.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and TypeScript.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Express, or Python.
- Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Relevant degree or certification in Computer Science or a related field.
