Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic vision through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce annual Future State reports with data-backed forecasts and strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for emerging societal challenges
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical innovation and sustainable growth
- Represent FutureForge at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and scenario modeling software
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking preferred
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
