Responsibilities
- Lead the vehicle dynamics analysis and simulation for the 2026 Tiguan platform using Adams Car and CarSim.
- Define and tune chassis parameters, including suspension geometry, steering, and damping characteristics.
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams to optimize the electric powertrain integration for improved torque vectoring.
- Validate dynamic behavior through rigorous track testing and real-world data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with global safety and performance standards (e.g., ISO 26262, FMVSS).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and graduate students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle dynamics, chassis engineering, or ride comfort tuning.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Adams Car, CarSim, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong understanding of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and autonomous driving integration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
