Responsibilities
- Design and prototype high-fidelity user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, wireframing, and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive designs.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster team growth.
- Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.
- Present design concepts and iterations to stakeholders with a compelling narrative.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Proven track record of shipping user-centric products in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping software.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, wireframing, and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to non-design audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to relocate to New York, NY, with the ability to work in-office or remotely (flexible hours).
