Responsibilities
- Lead Design Systems: Architect and maintain a scalable, component-based design system that ensures brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- User-Centric Innovation: Conduct deep user research and usability testing to drive product decisions that enhance fan engagement and athlete experiences.
- Accessibility Champion: Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and adhere to Section 508 standards to create an inclusive environment for everyone.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant, intuitive solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster team growth and excellence.
- Visual Storytelling: Create high-fidelity prototypes and visual assets that tell the compelling story of the Games.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or Interaction Design.
- Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD with a strong command of design systems.
- Accessibility: Demonstrated experience in designing for accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Portfolio: A strong, case-study-driven portfolio showcasing complex design projects and process.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in agile environments and adapting to rapid iteration cycles.
