Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and drive product decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard tools like Figma and Sketch.
- Design and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to translate business requirements into visually compelling designs.
- Present design concepts and defend design choices to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster team growth.
- Optimize user interfaces for maximum speed, accessibility, and scalability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the tech industry.
- Proven ability to manage the full product design lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and spatial relationships.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and prototyping software.
- Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a significant plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design concepts.
- Must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX and possess a valid US work authorization.
